Exhibition Runs: 10 June - 30 July 2022

Dundee Contemporary Arts, Edinburgh Printmakers, Glasgow Print Studio, Highland Print Studio & Peacock Visual Arts
This exhibition brings together works from the five major Scottish Print Studios – Dundee Contemporary Arts, Edinburgh Printmakers, Glasgow Print Studio, Highland Print Studio and Peacock Visual Arts.
These organisations are central to Scotland’s strong Printmaking tradition. They are distinctive in their own right, but occasionally work together in project form under the banner of the Scottish Print Network.
The 10 prints on display from each studio give a window into their respective identities and span historical and contemporary works. Different collaborations and techniques give an accessible but rich perspective on printmaking produced in and by Scotland’s principal workshops.
The exhibition started life as a road-trip, a post-lockdown reconnection, where Glasgow Print Studio travelled to the other four studios to discuss, to spend time, and to appreciate the outstanding quality of work on offer. Each studio was encouraged to make their own selections to best represent them.

Works on display include prints by Christine Borland, Calum Colvin, Ken Currie, Katy Dove, Hanna Tuulikki, David Shrigley, Ralph Steadman, Barbara Rae, Philip Reeves, Carol Rhodes, Frances Walker, and Alberta Whittle amongst many more.
