Glasgow Print Studio is delighted to present Branching, its second exhibition collaboration with Graphic Studio Dublin, following the success of Between Islands in 2024. 

Branching brings together three artists from each studio to explore ideas of growth, solitude and connection through the study of trees in both urban and wild environments. Working across etching, screenprint, woodcut, digital print, monotype and mixed media, the exhibition celebrates collaboration, dialogue and the living networks that connect artists, places and ideas.

Alistair Gow (Glasgow Print Studio) graduated with a BA (Hons) in Painting and Printmaking from Glasgow School of Art in 2010. Since joining Glasgow Print Studio in 2014, he has specialised in intaglio and relief printmaking, collaborating with artists to produce editioned prints while also teaching courses and supporting the Studio's membership. Alongside his technical practice, he continues to develop his own work as a printmaker.

Gregory Moore (Glasgow Print Studio) was born in Larne, Northern Ireland, in 1961 and graduated from Belfast Art College with a BA (Hons) in Fine Art in 1983. Following a career in graphic design and teaching, he now works as an artist and printmaker. A member of Glasgow Print Studio for over ten years, he works across etching, mezzotint, drypoint, monoprint and stone lithography, drawing inspiration from landscape and wildlife.

Murray Robertson (Glasgow Print Studio) studied at Glasgow School of Art and continues to live and work in Glasgow. A long-standing member of Glasgow Print Studio, he combines traditional printmaking with digital technologies, reflecting his role as Master Printer and manager of the Studio's Digital Imaging Suite. His practice explores the creative potential of digital imaging and print, balancing technical innovation with a sustained interest in fine art printmaking.

Ailbhe Barrett (Graphic Studio Dublin) is an award-winning visual artist working across painting and printmaking. Originally from County Limerick and now based in Dublin, she is largely self-taught, having been home-schooled until the age of eighteen. A member of Graphic Studio Dublin, she creates ambitious large-scale prints that explore the relationship between painting and printmaking, producing diptychs, triptychs and polyptychs that push the boundaries of both disciplines.

Cliona Doyle (Graphic Studio Dublin) was born in 1968 and studied Fine Art Printmaking at the National College of Art and Design in Dublin, graduating with an Honours degree in 1991. Since then, she has dedicated her practice to printmaking, specialising in carborundum techniques. Her work frequently explores botanical subjects, developing distinctive floral themes through richly textured prints that celebrate colour, form and the expressive possibilities of the medium.

Ed Miliano (Graphic Studio Dublin) was born in New York in 1954 and graduated with a BFA from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn. After more than twenty-five years working as a designer and illustrator in the USA and Ireland, he dedicated himself fully to his art practice. A member of Graphic Studio Dublin since 2022, he regularly exhibits at Graphic Studio Gallery and has shown his work extensively throughout Ireland and the United States.
