Glasgow Print Studio is delighted to present new work by acclaimed Scottish artist Ken Currie. Closely linked to his recent exhibitions in London and Stornoway, The Indigo Series: An Turas/The Crossing explores resilience, survival, and the elemental power of the sea. Textured, atmospheric and affecting, they reflect Currie’s pursuit of the “distressed image.”

Rooted in Currie’s experiences in the North Atlantic islands of the Hebrides, these works reflect lives shaped by the sea over generations, while also resonating with today’s world — images of fragility, persistence, and quiet hope.
