Within the Looking Glass - Alexandra Milsom

The velvet black finish, which is a characteristic of the mezzotint process, provides chiaroscuro and subtle tonal effects to Alexandra’s intimate scale works portraying imaginings of dreamlike worlds of fanciful human and animal characters.
